The year was also very introspective and transformative, though in gaining my experience of humanity, I may have lost some in terms of diligence and practical excellence. I do not feel as confident nor efficient as I once did, yet now I have more people I can share thoughts, words and anything with.

I will not place lofty expectations upon the coming year. I've learned that lesson.

Also, I seemed to have missed an opportunity for a New Year's story again. I couldn't finish the previous one, which was a Yellow-Submarine-style story where some friends go on a quest to fix things when Time stops running in the universe. I have no idea what kind of story I could write for this year.

When midnight rolls by, I'll just be sitting here, drinking juice and listening to some CDs. I'm 23, and I already feel too old to go out all night.

There's one thing I can do, though, which I've been doing for a few years. A Tori Amos song for you, who might not have been around when I put it up. I always listen to it around this time.
