Couple of nights before, I'd just asked if he was ready to try bottoming. Stupidest argument I've ever had with him. Then he didn't see me at all for a few days, until I met him at a party our friend was throwing. While I was cutting fruits, he explained things, got me sad, but y'know, many fish in the sea. All's fine till he turned around and looked me squarely in the eye. "I've got a wife waiting for me, boy! Get that through your thick head!" he said. I put something through his jugular, instead.

I saw him packing his bags. "Where you goin' sayang?" I asked. "Uh, I got a phone call, they need me back in HQ." I told him he's an awful liar. "Is that right? Okay, here's the deal: It's over. We've had a good run, thought I'd save myself some little hissy fit and go out real quiet." He clicked his bag closed. "I know you. You'll find new ass in no time. No hard feelings, sweetheart." he said. It was completely wrong, of course, so I corrected him in three words. Bang. Bang. Bang.
